Was given my next assignment and was asked to design a murderer- But not just any murderer, oh no.
This murderer needed to be designed with a bear in mind. My leads wanted for him to be a man beneath the fresh skin of a grizzly bear. So I got to work.

Okay, so the first design wasn't really all that "Hey! I'm a murderer! Fear me!", so my leads gave me some pointers and I was off again to redesign the head shot.
Now THAT'S more like it.
From the first to the second one I pushed more of the bear, taking in reference shots of bear skin and bones because I wanted to test a small version of a broken jaw. And teeth! I mean really, what kind of bear doesn't have teeth?
And with a bit more input from my leads I was off to work the body.
So we have the body!
And a new weapon to boot! Thinking it over I wasn't really feeling that the bear trap fit to the character. This is a murderer- this guys not going to be dragging around a bear trap wherever he goes. That's when i realized I had his weapon all along- I had designed him from the beginning with arrows in the back of the bear skin!
And my leads approved of the change.
Next it was time to get down to my characters back and side shots.
Looking pretty snazzy my dear bearman.
COLORING!
Finally we come to the final work!
Which has been turned in and given the thumbs up- so now it is off to one of our modelers.
