Been so busy with finals!

Bust I have been keeping my sanity with doodles and drawing!

So here are a few things that I have done in the last few days to help me keep my mind together~

Sky's the Limit

Was asked to make a sky box in one of my classes- 

after I made that I wanted to make this.

Kind of a speed painting 

And I just really enjoy how it came out. 

So I wanted to share~!

Mixed Monster Madness

Decided to try something new!

Really new... 

1.) I'm not using outline

2.) I'm not allowing myself much if anything in the way of shading. 

5.) Sticking to sharper shapes and trying a new style.

and R.) Using nothing but the pen tool. 

(no eraser, no brush no textures nothing. Nothing but pen baby!)

Also I'm feeling a bit of a monster mood even though Halloween is already over

So lets get this party started!

Animatic SoS

YAY!!
It's been so long since I got to do a storyboard!
So now~
I'm taking on one of my own stories called S.o.S.
For those that have been on my blog for a while now you may recognize that name as my
Superhero's of Super!

The episode I am working with right now is called
"Out of the Yard"
Where Karma and Fate, my half werewolf hero's, get loose on the night of the full moon
and now the team must work together to get the two under control
and out of the city while there is still a city standing.

Timings still a bit off buuut....

Sorry there have been no updates as of late!

Things are getting Busy!

N.o.V

N.O.V is another one of my older stories... 

I mean- OLDER older. 

This is the second story I ever wrote. 

N.O.V stands for Nightmare of Valentines day.

Yes this is a cheesy child's idea of a 'whats next' story.

And even with all it's loopholes and dorky original design

I still love it.

So what do I do?

Remake some of these memorable characters in a more cartoony style 

and update the story into something a little more solid.

Maybe some day I'll be able to push these characters through and design the 

short animation I have planned for them.
But that's not going to stop me from making expression sheets!!!

Bits and Bits more

So its back into another semester of my favorite class- Advanced Production!

Doing what I love most- Concept Art!

This semester we are starting up another game and I get to be one of the leads who take on the concept art of said project. Whoo!

So then, lets take a look at some of what has been going on thus far shall we?

Here we have a few of the to be bosses that our players will be facing~

    

And of course we have to have our background setting pieces.

I decided to work on one of the final bosses-

The one known as.... PIGEON MAN!!

Though the first two designs were no's 

cartoony design number 3 was accepted!

So school is starting to take a leap on work-

Which I am enjoying but quite a few things have come up to make it a bit more consuming then I had originally prepared myself for. 

Most of the friction comes from one class in particular.

But it's okay- I'm sure I can handle it all. 

Besides that class I get to do what I love most- Concept Art!

A few posts back I posted some starting images of the Khalir Islands-

Well, I spoke with my teachers over it and I came to realize

It wasn't only land that I needed to work on- It was my speed.

So here I have my first speed painting.

Feith Continued

For those who may remember- about a year back or so I did a small serious called the Feith. 

A hybrid species of plant and insect~ I enjoyed working on this series a whole lot and thought it would be fun to finish them up. 

Well, perhaps not finish, but add more. 

After all-

When I started this series of hybrids I collected quite a few insects and plants that I wanted to work with and I didn't. 

Really I don't think I got though even half of the reference collection I made. 

haha.

This is a hybrid of an Assassin Ant and a Manettia flower.

The first design back into another set-
I'll update this as they come.

The Councel

Ahhh~ Finally! It's weekend!

Wow, only 3 weeks into school and I'm already saying that- Haha. 

Oh well- I love working and having school projects so really it's all good. 

But no one is ganna say no to a weekend. (I mean for someone in school.)

Anyways~ 

So it's friday.

I have my cup of tea.

finished all my errands.

and happily in my PJ's.

Eelmaid Update

Look who finally got all her spots!!

After having to leave this project be for a summer I'm glad to jump back into

it and give this creature of the deep more work.

Though she is not finalized at this time

I am happy with her current state~
